Hello lovelies,

Why is "CD Projekt Red" not able to develop a stable, low-bug and functional game launcher within a few years? A task that even hobby developers can do better in less time? Is "CD Projekt" not interested in investing any more money in "GOG Galaxy"?

Even basic things like synchronizing the hidden games between the website and the launcher don't work.
And don't even get me started on the poor functionality of the game library sorting function.
In addition, there are frequent display errors, slow connections or terminations.
And why hasn't there been a stable branch for four years?

Is there even a roadmap for the future of the launcher or will it continue to languish and slowly die out?

Best regards!

It's absurd. They try to implement x,y,z but can't get the abc's right.

The sorting of the library is just absurd.

They are dumb, that is all there is too it. You build from a solid foundation, but they build on sand.

The better question here is why so much software these days is being released on "stable" branches, despite being beta quality or worse.
