Resolved the problem by changing my account email address to match the email address that received the invite.
I'm sure I'm just being dumb here but I can't even get it to stay open for more than a minute, I get an error saying "Connection to Communication Service was lost and could not be restored! GOG Galaxy will now shutdown."

Anyone know what is going on here?
Is there a place I can re-download the beta client? I don't have the E-Mail anymore, and I got a new second PC I want to install it on...
You can just download it here: https://www.gogalaxy.com/en/download

primey0: I got a email inviting me to try out GOG Galaxy 2.0 but when I download it and login I get this message

grena: Yup I have the exact same problem. I've received the invite but once logged, it says I need to be invited. Maybe we need to wait a bit for them to activate something?
My problem was I log into GOG with @googlemail.com but the invite was sent to @gmail.com. So I had to change my gog email to the email the invite was sent.

When I first signed up for Galaxy 2.0 I must have used @gmail.com thinking that was my GOG username.

Loving the platform so far, but having one weird issue. I connected to my Origin account, and everything pulled over correctly except for info about Dragon Age: Inquisition. I'm curious if anyone has had this issue with only a few games not loading in
I tried signing in using the email that the beta invite was sent to but it says USER NOT FOUND. If i try to make a new account it says I am not invited to the Beta using the new email address.

Same for me, for me, it can be that i changed login email afrer signing up to beta, now changed login email back(becouse can't login with new one) but old one is also not working. installed version 1.** back for now.
Erm...got a invitation of the closed beta to one of my email accounts, but since I have changed email accounts on my GOG account I couldn't make it work. Would anyone could help me to fix that?
Just log in to whatever account you want to use and change the email address to the one that received the invite email.

1. Point to your username at the top of the page.
2. Click "Privacy & settings."
3. Click "Login and security."
4. Click "change" next to your email address.
Having used 2.0 for a bit these are the two main issues that have jumped out at me. First when I am downloading games from my GOG library I want detailed download information not just the word Installing followed by a percentage. Maybe add a downloads tab?

Second there needs to be a way to add individual games that are not linked to a launcher. I know those are rare these days but I really want to add S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl and my install of Rise of Legends to Galaxy. Apart from that everything seems to be working great!
I can't install the launcher because I get the message "The drive or UNC share you selected does not exist or is not accessible. Please select another." But I don't even get a screen that lets me choose where to install it. I would upload a picture but when I try to upload a .png or .jpg to this forum it tells me wrong file format. :|

Edit: fixed grammar.
Edit 2: Uninstalled normal launcher and the 2.0 installer worked.

I received an invitation but can't login to the 2.0 client, it says I didn't receive an invitation. This is weird. Anybody has this problem too?
I didn't change any email or anything, if I remember correctly I am still using my original GOG email address.
Just got the invitations!
Began to connect clients to GOG.

There was a problem with connections to epic game.

My epic game account was tied to a PSN account. When trying to podpisati epic account, automatically trying once again to podpisati account PSN
Suggestion: Add Bethesda's and Blizzard's launcher.
