"Download offline backup game installers. Useful if you anticipate limited internet access or want to have a backup. These installers don't support auto-updating, nor on-line features."
It looks like the only way to get the backup installers on a giant game like Mafia 3 Deluxe Edition is to download all 18 installers individually and not use the Galaxy client for game saves. Now I don't know the nuts and bolts of clients like Galaxy or Steam, but I'm guessing they download the same exact files as the multi-part installers we've always had on gog.com, then they extract them into 53GB of playable files during installation and delete the 52GB of installers so you don't end up with 105GB of files stored on your system. So why can't I just keep all of it instead of having to go without Galaxy?! Just put a checkbox option in the Galaxy settings that says "Do not delete backup installers after Galaxy install is completed". I want to use Galaxy to have cloud saves and updates but I also like to put all my installers onto a 2TB hard disk in case GOG disappears some day. These DRM free installers are the only reason I use GOG since Ubisoft taught me they can and will take away offline access to my Uplay games with their terrible service at any time without warning.
