GOG keeps complaining it has no space to upload my saves but I disabled cloud sync already.

Everytime I quit the game I get that warning.

edit: as mentioned in my original thread, I have already tried deleting all saves in the cloud (https://www.gog.com/account/cloud-saves/page/1)

edit2: ok, this seems to have a solution (I still need to test it): https://www.gog.com/forum/general_beta_gog_galaxy_2.0/has_anyone_ever_successfully_turned_sync_games_off/?search=cloud%20sync

But basically, launch the game with the DEFAULT launcher with CLOUD SYNC TURNED OFF
Then launch the game with the CUSTOM LAUNCH PARAMETERS. GOG should then sync up the options and obey the "no cloud sync" setting.
It's clearly a bug in Galaxy..

nevermind my last edit; it doesn't work.

basically Galaxy is bugged and it does not respect the "no-sync" flag if you are using custom executables with custom launch flags. It's a bug.

The only way to not get this issue is to revert to using the default executable...

I reported this bug on their tracker years ago and it's still not fixed, along with nearly every other bug I reported.

Maybe with the recent flood of reports on the forum they'll finally fix this one.

Can you share a link to your ticket/report? I will post a new one and mention this is years old and still present...

I swear Stalker 2 was the last game I buy in GOG...

THX1342: snip.
The mantis2 bug tracker doesn't seem to be publicly accessible anymore, which is where i had it posted. The old tracker at mantis.gog.com still works but I don't think it's actively used.

Just having it posted here in the forum or reporting it in a support ticket is probably your best bet.
Damn this is so frustrating. The 200MB is too stringent for a game like CP2077 and disabling cloud save sync does nothing. So every time I play CP2077 I have to wait > 1 minute for GoG Galaxy to try and fail to sync my saves.

If anyone's looking on the GoG side:

I had actively prioritized buying games on GoG vs Steam when a title was available on both platforms, but GoG's dropped the ball with the limited save spaces and this GoG Galaxy bug. It's ridiculous that a CD Projekt game has vastly better QoL on a competing platform.

I won't be buying another game on GoG until this is addressed.
Same problem disabling sync galaxy wide or for the game does nothing, it still tries to sync on every launch.
Same exact issue here. It's also occasionally causing the client to crash for some reason as well. Sloppy and problematic.
I've had the same problem with Skyrim SE ever since they introduced the limited cloud storage. I tried opening a support ticket about it, but basically got the run around until they finally seemed to admit it was a bug.

I don't understand why they can't fix this. It's like no one is working on GOG Galaxy at all.

If they gave me access to the source code, I bet I could fix it myself...
