Same here guys. It requested me to download a 9 something GB patch. When it gets to 91%-92% it completely stops.

I've been waiting for 1 hour and a half. I'm going to reinstall the whole game to see if it works. :(

Have this issue. Was stuck at 56%.

The game is installed on the HDD. But got galaxy is installed on my SSD. Started clearing space on the SSD (was at about 20 gig free) and as I freed space it was getting used. And the cyberpunk update started to apply patches faster and tick up.

So I recommend clearing space on system drive/gig galaxy install drive. This may help

The patch was 9.7 GB, it got stuck two times, the second time at 92%, I tried everything and nothing worked, after about 1 hour 30 minutes the patch finished on its own.
It's kind of shitty but just wait.

I have been stuck at 56% for almost 2 hours now. I am getting close to just asking for a refund

cleared up 20gb on my install drive + waited another 20 mins or so and it worked

Hang fire, it will continue.
It just seems to be un-optimised for the first day patch to catch up.
I had the same, I tried everything but it got there in the end.
My first install was on my HDD and it took about 45 mins.
The second try was an SSD and it took about 30 mins, not much to assume except its not well optimised.
Keep the faith, its not a crash, just a really slow bug.

Cleaned 18 on mu hard drive, 40 on my windows drive, and 100 off my install target, external HDD.

No change. 56%.

As stupid as this will sound, turn off Galaxy, turn it on again. It will unfuck itself, finish the patch appliance, download a 200+ mb patch, unfuck itself again and launch.

P.S.: I know y'all feel like this is not snappy enough. But give CDPR some leeway. They have to unfuck a bunch a crap for both Steam, GOG, consoles and wherever the fuck else they got CP2077. It sucks. I know. But we've waited for 3 delays. We can bother to wait a couple more hours for the installer to unfuck itself. Bear with it. Please.

Mine finally completed! Applying the patch created another ~60gb worth files in the temp I think this made my computer slower. So if you clear up some space (maybe delete or move some files from the drive you got the game and GOG installed temporarily to a different drive) it might jump from 92% to 100% instantly like mine did. Don't worry it automatically deletes the files in the temp folder after the patch so you get the 60gb space back. Hope this helps

had same issues, preinstalled on monday. went to play needed the patch. was installed on my hdd. after 1 hour stuck at 56%, uninstalled it and reinstalled it on my ssd 1tb boot drive. will update wiht how this one goes.
