The new Beta build 2.0.60 is a lot better. It has a better memory foot print and seems a lot better. Thanks GOG.

How did you download it? In-app update fails here, and can't find anywhere to download it manually.

Open the Task manager and look for the GOG Process.

Start the update.
When the Update closes down the GOG window,switch to the task manager and kill the GOG Process (not the Update one). That should let the Update go through

I dowloaded the 2.055 installer a week ago it updated to the newest on it's own. If you are getting a failed update. Look for the installer with the version numbers on it.

When the Update closes down the GOG window,switch to the task manager and kill the GOG Process (not the Update one). That should let the Update go through
Before you start the update close GOG and then all in task mgr. then run the installer.

From September 28th, can confirm this worked. Haven't used Galaxy in a while, but it's probably going to be my main launcher going forward.
