Does GoG Galaxy 2.0 have controller support like Steam?

I know that each game has it's own controller support but I'm talking the overlay like Steam does. Where I can connect my Switch Pro controller and it works just fine as long as the game supports controllers in general.

Unfortunately not - the devs are thinking about it, but there is no clear statement about it making its way into G2

I'd like to see this as well at some point in the future. Maybe not before 2.0's full release, but maybe soon after.

That's a shame because that is literally the only thing preventing me from using G2 as my main program. Right now it is just a way to shop between deals for games that I just launch through Steam.

Well if they want more people to use the Platform i suggest Whipping up a good one. Otherwise i'll just head back to Steam. I also Use the Switch Pro Controller once i got used to it there was no turning back lol.

I was about to pre order Biomutant on Galaxy 2.0 but went for Steam because i was unsure about the Controller

Edit: I found out that this particular game has Controller support so i cancelled Steam and Pre ordered for Galaxy, only because of what GOG stands for. So ideally we want steam like Controller Support on Galaxy but done better.

This is a bit sad honestly. I'm starting to buy games on Steam by default again due to the lack of proper controller support on GoG - in my case the Switch Pro Controller. I'm very sorry, I love the general ambition of GoG, but fooling around with additional tools to emulate XBox/PS-Controllers is not something I want to do in 2022.
Kind regards

Not at all surprised that console cucks would rather buy a game from a DRM-storefront than use a program that takes 0.2 seconds to launch in order to use their controller anywhere. Hell, you could auto-launch it and setting it up permanently would take maybe 30 seconds. "2022" holy cope.

You could say that but it wont give you a free pass for majority of people, you still need to compete with the competition and having a dedicated controller system like a Big picture Mode as just a example will bring in those 'console cucks' and other mainstream people. Yeah you have a Zealot core fanbase like us DRM free headed as the moral flagship but you still need the best product.
