satoru: After the latest update I"m getting pretty much constant crashes of this service in the event viewer. BEX errors and app crashes galore. Ive tried reinstalling GOG. But I have not yet tried uninstalling it entirely and reinstalling.

I have exactly the same here, after upgrading from 2.0.55 to 2.0.57. I have filed a bug report, and attached the logs from C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\logs, but if more people report their information, the GOG people might be able to find out what the root cause is.
That is, I assume they will have tested the 2.0.57 version before it went out, but I guess there is something different about our systems from their systems. :)
