So I dunno what happened, I rebooted my computer, steam games wouldn't appear. I disconnected and reconnected my steam account, now even though it loaded steam, on every single launch it takes like 5x longer htan before, and it keeps failing at loading a ton of data. For instance, it seems unable to pull last played and time played for half my games, and I sort my games by last played.

I dunno what is going on by the longer I use your client, the shittier it becomes.

From time to time the client disconnects and requires to re-login. When this happens a red dot appears near the Gear icon. Also make sure your internet connection is working properly to prevent this from happening.

I have a potato system (dual core proc) and yet I haven't experienced a slowdown like you describe.

Client not show problems like red dot or disconected state for steam integration with this problem. It just can't complete intrnally sync with steam by hidden reason. Maybe steam chnage something at own side, or some bug in client itegration with steam added in recent verion...
Yup, Steam games are mostly gone (all 9000 of them), it just hangs at "Importing Steam - 79%". Still worked brilliantly last night but this morning Galaxy wanted to reconnect my Steam account and that's when it all went to hell.
Started over completely. Uninstalled Galaxy, wiped C:\ProgramData\GOG.com, reinstalled.

Issue persists.

Oddly enough, it also still has my (not installed) Origin and Uplay games in the games list although I haven't synced these accounts yet - so I wonder where the games list is actually stored?

EDIT: Raised a ticket and found there are several more with the same issue. Guess we'll just have to wait for a fix.

About same problem here, steam games only 96% and still loading after i opened Galaxy for more then 15 minutes.

Also none of the stats appear (gametime,...on what platform played,...)

Everything worked fine until this evening.

I get steam games back after lot client exits (kill program infact in most times beacuse it freezed at exit).
So some chance exists for recovery state.

Any way gog2 steam integration have some bug that freeze client at attempt sync with steam with lost sync data and freeze client.

I'm experiencing this same issue as well. Started a few days ago. First symptom was Steam just totally didn't show up, then I restarted the client and it showed the red dot next to my gear icon. Connected my Steam account again and now my client keeps freezing both on startup and exit. I've let it run for a while, but nothing happens.

All of my other accounts sync perfectly fine (Epic, Uplay, etc.) but Steam just either freezes the complete client, only imports like 10 or 20 games from the 1000+ that it was displaying just fine before or it does nothing.

Hopefully a fix will be pushed shortly, because I was loving this new game library system right up until it shit the bed on me.
Have the same problems, and can't launch Witcher 3 from the client today.

Maybe it has something to do with the amount of games in your library O_O
My current setup looks like this 534 games
GOG 222 Games
Steam 281 Games
Origin 18 Games
EPIC 7 Games
Uplay 1 Game
Freeware 5 Games
Same here, even after deleting all the folders in appdata and programdata and reinstaling.
Same here. Only fix is to quickly disconnect Steam after launching Galaxy before it tries to import or else the client freezes forever on importing. Have to go without Steam for now. Bummer, most my games are on Steam.

Same is happening with me, now with battle.net games as well.... I am no longer able to link and unlink steam for a fresh start.

My experience was almost exactly the same as yours, I have about 800 GOG, 300 Steam, 40 Twitch, 10 Uplay, 6 Origin, 2 battle.net, 2 xbox live

Problem with freezes and constant loading appears after pc restart. I removed Galaxy program data folder then unistalled and reinstalled the client. To my surprise after reintegrating everything worked fine. I got every game from steam (all of 2309 of them) and other platforms. So over 2900 games and it worked fine. It worked fine until the next day when I started PC and GOG welcomed me with crash report. So yeah. Number of games doesn't matter. Only thing that matters is a connection to Steam. There must be something fucked up with this refreshing of the Steam library - some corruption or dunno what. When you disconnect Steam library everything works fine.
