I've having the same issue with Galaxy on my M1 MacBook Air. Tried to installed the updated steam plugin but I don't have any GOG folder in Application Support. There's only 1 GOG.Com folder on my Mac and it's under Users/Shared. Only Plugin folder in it seems to contain database folders and the the plugins themselves.

Anyone able to help out?

Lipstick2311: I would like to install it but i am very untechnical so i have no clue what to do. Is winows with installer one that installs itself while the other one needs to be done manually? and what file does one run? and where should they go? and should the galaxy program be running in the bg? and how will it show up in the launcher later? and does it update itself? and why can this one not be the one found from the launcher?

Sorry for my questions. I have a feeling they might be quite dumb but i have no clue
To install the plugin just go here, https://github.com/ABaumher/galaxy-integration-steam/releases/tag/v1.0.7.
Download the 'windows_with_installer.zip' archive. Unzip it and run 'auto-copy-windows.bat'. That's all.

Gog Galaxy doesn't pull this one automatically because it still refers to the old repositories, which are now abandoned.
Part of the work of the devs is to have GOG switch to the new ones, or find some other solution to have Galaxy pull the new code.

I appreciate this post but it did nothing for me.
It tried to connect, was stuck in a loop until it "connceted" but went offline. So, no cigar.
It says that my system can't find the data.

Try this:

- exit Galaxy client from the systray menu
- delete everything you find in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\steam_ca27391f-2675-49b1-92n0-896e43a fa8f8 (your ID could be different).
- install the new plugin
- start galaxy and try to connect to Steam

I installed Version 1.2.0 Beta from the link above, was great to see the new Steam games pop into the collection! Thanks!

I downloaded the plugin, closed restarted GOG and tried to connect, then failed.
I closed gog (task manager), deleted all from the gog appdata path mentioned above on forum, installed the plugin successfully this time and still no success on linking....

EDIT : Nvm, idk why, tried again and worked...

For macOS users: If ,auto-copy-mac.command' does not work go to folder:

~/Library/Application Support/GOG.com/Galaxy/plugins/installed/steam_ca27391f-2675-49b1-92c0-896d43afa4f8/

Delete all files in this folder, and copy all extracted files from ,mac.zip' to this folder.

Thanks, now it works for me also.
Wonder why devs are not updating GOG Galaxy, as it could be good.
When I do this, GOG tells me in red letters, that the plugin is crashed. And I can't change this condition anymore.
