Using the GOG Galaxy 2.0.23 app I'm seeing a pretty consistent download speed for the latest BG3 update of .1mbps. The download has failed (no error code) several times now. Once in a while it will climb up to 3.x mbps but only for a second before dropping back to .1

Is there an alternate, faster way to get these updates? It is 63gb and at this rate it will take a day to finish.

Same problem here for all my games. There seems to be some trouble with Galaxy or the download servers. My automatic game updates keep failing

Glad to hear it's not just me but sorry you're dealing with it too. At least the progress is not lost when it fails and you can restart it and pick up at the same place. My friends (on steam) already gave up on waiting for me to join them today, oh well. Next week maybe.
Direct downloads via GOG seem to be fine. It only affects GOG Galaxy. Try downloading the update files via your library.

I'm not seeing how/where to do that. Is it done via the website?

yes, click on your name above, then games and select the game and choose offline installer

Wow, thanks for the info but it appears even that option is broken. I either get a 504 gateway error or this...

{
"error": "server_error",
"error_description": "Unknown error"
}

Oh well, seems like they have something messed up on their side that needs to be fixed. It would be nice if they would put up a sticky letting users know...
Yup, same for me. Was working some minutes ago. Looks like their servers going to sh*t now... :D
same here. maybe you could use a drm free offline installer for bg3? if that exists.
My download speeds are not going any higher than 0.8 MBs, I'm scared about when Cyberpunk drops now lmfao. Going to feel like my Dial-up days.
