What? I want no catapults on my party!!!!
So I'm guessing this will be Steam only...

DRM free in their FAQ and mentioned in their Tiers....
I'm a bit worried about how the dialogue will be edited if they're displaying a Strenght [sic] stat in their promotional video, but maybe I should try the demo and find out...

Edit: hmm. Their RapidShare mirror is saying 'deleted by the owner' when I try to download the file. The Mediafire one seems to work, though.

Woops, I kind of threw up my hands in frustration when I saw the giant Greenlight sign. Perhaps I'm just fatigued?

And here I thought you were being sarcastic, after all these complaints of DRM-free promising kickstarters going over to steam.

Nah, just super worried about another one of these Kickstarters going full DRM robot.
I clearly need to do my reading before shaking my head again.
I like the setting, seems something new but I actually thought it was going to be some simple hack'n'slash at first so turn-based with non-linearity, this sounds great and good price too. I'll keep an eye on this.
Sounds incredible, but I'm somewhat skeptical of whether they can realistically deliver the game they describe. I won't even bother fighting the in-game exclusive content any more, it'll be up on all the torrent sites a day after release and anyone that wants it can get it anyway. They've got my attention though, token pledge for now.
Seems interesting, want to pledge just for the cookbook :p
Well, Middle East is definitely a more interesting setting than Middle Earth.
I've mixed feelings: I played some of the demo with a diplomatic character (I didn't try any combat), and was impressed by the number of conversational choices - though it's hard to determine from one play how much weight these choices have - but some of the dialogue was very flat, and the swearing did not connote distant times in far-off lands, to say the least.

My opinion as well.
Played a little of the prototype - yeah some of the dialogue could be better (its an Italian production - even their KS has some grammatical spelling errors so they probably need to work on the plot/story and way it comes across - having said that its very early prototype)
