I wouldn't want to play a game where it's main focus is sexual content. Now if its added to the game, ala The Witcher, then I'm ok with it.
Seeing a car bounce up and down in Grand Theft Auto is adult enough for me.

At least Skyrim adult mods are available if I want to go adult oriented path.

I noticed here in USA, there is a huge double-standard on nudity/sex, so much that I believe it hurts people, by them developing complexes/inabitions/stigma/etc.

If I came across it in a game I wouldn't mind if it fits, or even advances, the narrative/atmosphere. If it doesn't then I wouldn't necessarily blame them because its sexual. I might as well view it in the same light as I would any shortcoming in the story, such as someone critical of the end of ME3. I can only speak for myself of course and I have my comfort zone derived from years of prejudices. I don't want to see Mario doing the princess on a Nintendo 3DS, but I wouldn't mind something a little more than a simple fade-to-black when Bastila Shan [meek spoiler I guess - kotor 1] says : "Now kiss me you fool!" A large part of the game built up to that moment and I think the story would have benefited from perhaps a teenzy bit more.

Well, to put it bluntly, having an active sex life means I have no need for wank material.

Games aren't just for children anymore, sex is about fun and so are games. For the case of Steam, I kinda understand why they put it off, steam as also a social network, people on your friend list can see what buy and play, which in the case of X games can be a little embarrassing for various reasons, mostly because people are people.

I can say that as a couple, we sure do watch porn together. Most of the girls of the girls I know watch porn to get off as well as have an active sex life. Masturbation will always be there. Partners/couples/wives/husbands.. not so much, in todays society.

Absolute truth. People do have phobias and there is stigma to sex in the states and even a bit in Canada. Europe has the right idea behind sex.
