Was it the inverted difficulty curve? Or maybe that boxing mini game?

Dragonshard and Demon Stone are easy picks, I only bought them in the D&D pack because they were only a couple of extra cents or because the pack was actually more expensive without them, I can't remember exactly. I don't see myself playing either game.

Excluding them, I guess Neverwinter Nights, the Blake Stone's or maybe Mean Streets. The thing is pretty much every game I've picked up on GOG I own physically and wanted to have a back-up, so even a least favorite is liked well enough to be picked up a second time.
Conquest of the New World. I recall it being a great game, but replaying it now it did not age well at all and I couldnt get past it back to the core enjoyment of the game. For something I bought that I didnt own prior... Desperados. Horrible implementation of the Commandos engine (no idea if it was the engine, just game style I mean).

DAFUQ is going on in this thread....?!
I don't have a massive collection yet, but out of the 30+ games I have bought, only one has truly disappointed me. And yet, I knew it would before buying it.

Blood 2.

It's all this:

jefequeso: hmm... probably Blood II. Usually I'm able to get some sort of enjoyment out of any FPS. Not so with Blood II. The combination of horrendously unbalanced levels/combat and lack of a brightness slider (so it was impossible to see in 99% of the maps) made it a chore to play, and the fact that the core gameplay wasn't anything terribly engaging made it not worth the effort. It and Jericho are the only 2 FPSs I've played (and I've played a whole crapload of FPSs) that have been 0 fun whatsoever.
And then some. And I still bought it and beat it (with it crashing every fifteen minutes) just so I could say I played the entire Blood series.
Blood I and Blood II, Jagged Alliance 2, Postal I.

Blood series was an impulse buy and I played it after Duke 3D so couldn't help but think wow this blows.

I don't think I gave JA2 enough game time and tried playing it off my netbook in class so I need to redo that, just it didn't make me care to finish more than 3 missions.

Postal 1 reminds me of stuff you can get for free off an IPhone.

Hardest game so far that I finished: The Zork Anthology. EPIC but I can see text games not being for everyone.
Most Disappointing: Wing Commander: Privateer. I just dunno, I heard many great things and that it's the best Elite game but I just can't get into it. It took me forever to figure out how to shoot and when I do, I get my ass kicked because the controls suck and the ship you start out with can't even differentiate between an enemy fighter and the Nav point. There's potential and I can see once you learn things that it could be fun but my patience ran out.

Most Hated: Shogo, Hands down the worst game I've bought on GoG. It's a terrible FPS that's poorly balanced and simply becomes a quicksave/quickload fest and the story is insulting American's trying to do Anime stories. Wish GoG gave disks so I'd have something to smash.
Shattered Steel. Clumsy controls and boring missions made it my least favorite (it was also the first I bought here).
I don't regret a single purchase here.

Did you play if with a joystick? It's my favorite Wing Commander but I'd kill myself if I had to play it with a M&KB.
For me, it's:

1. Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold. The movement controls are just too dated. If the game was at least as fluid as Wolfenstein 3D in terms of moving your character, then I'd love to play it. But the movement is so choppy that the game isn't worth playing.

2. Robinson's Requiem 1 and 2. Same problem. This game with a better engine, perhaps from the late 1990s or early 2000s, would be much more playable. In it's current state, movement and the UI are just too clunky and dated to be enjoyable. Also, NPC AI is just silly beyond belief.

3. Arma Cold War Assault. This game could have been a blast in it's realism, but the fun is ruined by non nonsensical instructions and storytelling. Many levels lack any kind of instructions on what to do. Also, the opponent AI is terrible, and the bugs can make a level impossible to complete.

that could have been the problem, I don't have a joystick, just a game pad.
Warlords Battlecry III. I'm not the best at strategy games, but I can usually struggle through them enough to find some fun in them. Not so with this game. It started out fun enough, but on my second mission I got wiped out. Fast. A lot of it was my fault, but I found it hard not to just throw my units into the fray and sit back because I can't micromanage units I can't even see.

Other than that, the only game I didn't enjoy was Realms of Arkania 1 and 2. I felt a little let down by Divine Divinity and Painkiller, but I still enjoyed them.
