well I just tried installing Galactic Civilizations the same exact way I did before, and this time it worked for some reason. I was using Impulse and I got a " Downloaded file invalid ; MD5s do not match server " message. I even got that message when I used the suggested " Impulse anywhere" method. But now it worked on the 3rd try so yaay that's good .
And Neverwinter NightsDiamond version actually has been installed and running, though I did at first have to upgrade it to version 1.69 because of compatibility issues. The problems I have with it now are pretty small .( the game quits running if I try to skip past the opening movies, and the premium modules are choppy). All those aren't a big deal really, the main game and expansions work fine.
Undying still isn't working, even though my comp says it's installed. I did a google search to see if anyone else had the same problem that I did, and I could only find this. My situation is exactly the same as his was except I am using vista. I don;t like his solutions though, I find torrents to be a pain in the ass themselves.

Just downlaoded Frontlines: Fuel of War from steam. I figured that for 3.75usd special i couldent resist.
Yeah, ill get around to getting something of GoG eventually....
Dragon Age: Origins, I think.
Damn is it a good game.
Reinstalled Red orchestra on my pc. It's still awkward from the typical fps game put I'm getting used to t and enjoying it. I need to work on my accuracy though. The character just loves to move that arm around too much.
Fallout. I installed it a few weeks back. Keep trying to get into it, but so far it's totally not grabbing me. I've made it as far as vault 15... but i only feel the urge to play from time to time... and after a while i get bored and do something else... so i'm not getting far.
Uplink... again.
Just put DA:O on my comp, finally after weeks of waiting it has arrived :)
Area 51. After reading about it, I've been wanting to try it out for years. I only recently discovered it's apparently freeware now.
Dragon age: Origins.
I will never need to install another game again!
Sanitarium from GOG :)
Newest modern game is Mass Effect. Got it for €7 at Steam, so worth it! I'm actually enjoying it a lot more than I'd expect.
Guess I'll get Dragon Age: Origins some day as well. After a GotY/Complete release at a reduced price. Yes, I am cheap.
DO: Origins - bloody brilliant game, so far my game of the year if not best RPG ever.
Torchlight - this equally awesome for its awesome quirkiness.
