MGShogun: Analogue: A Hate Story

It's pretty awesome stuff.

I have played other visual novels but uhhhhhhhhhhh they're....... not for kids. X.X
Agree with Analogue: A Hate Story. Just 100% the game last night. Also played through Christine Love's other games Digital: A Love Story and Don't Take It Personally Babe, It Just Ain't Your Story

REALLY wanting to get/play Hate+ now...

As far as adult games go

Kana ~Little Sister~
Crescendo
Duel Savior
Seasons of the Sakura
Katawa Shoujo

Basically I've played through many of the main ones that have be translated officially/unofficially - still waiting for a Kimi ga Nozomu Eien fanpatch (or Rance VI) to be completed... won't ever happen though... though I thought the same about Duel Savior

Maighstir: Aselia the Eternal. Part visual novel, part turn-based strategy.
I've wanted to play this for a while, heard nothing but good about it. I wish GOG would add it.

I ordered my copy from jbox.com, but there are likely other places to get it.
- Ever17: The Out of Infinity
- Tsukihime
- Nocturnal Illusions
- Duel Savior
- Kanon
- Brave Soul (OK, this is more RPG than VN, but is good)
- Utawarerumono
Hmm I am very new to this market as I dont't have any practical device to play / read, like a tablet or so.. From the few I could get close to, I enjoyed most of them, as I am a bookworm of sort anyway.. ^^

The best i know of is Analogue, A Hate Story.. Heard ton of praise about 999 Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors on DS that i have but yet to play, and the sequel Virtue's Last Reward.

Sort of VN, the Phoenix Wright games are clever and funny, don't expect too much depth and emotion though!

The 39 steps
Loren The Amazon Princess - It's a hybrid between visual novel and tactic RPG and I extremely enjoyed playing it. A lot of fun, challenging encounters at times, some great characters, tons of text. I hope Loren 2 arrives soon.
Katawa Shoujo - I have played rather long alpha Act 1 years ago when it was still in development. Hard to believe it's from 4chan. Pretty good stuff, I need to finish it.

---

I'm going to purchase Analogue when I'm done with current games. I tried demo and liked it a lot.

When the game development is in full gear they actually avoid 4chan for a while. They just want to make sure it doesn't get bad rep because of /b/
Quoted for truth.

Saya no Uta. Yes, it's eroge, but it's also pretty damn creepy and disturbing (in a horror way, not the other way (well, the other way, too)).
