Godzilla 1998?

Strijkbout: And of course......, ZARDOZ!
Zardoz is Art. Painful, painful, crepitating art, perhaps, but surely Art.

Cyberevil: Hackers I LOVE Hackers...
Second that. Also, I liked the movie "eXistenZ", though I don't know a single other person that did.

EDIT: Here is a link to the movie at IMDB if anyone is curious about it.

I read eXistenZ as Extenze.
Anything by John Carpenter (I've been accused to love and defend Carpenter like a parent would protect their retarded child)

Coscarelli's "Phantasm" series

James Bond flicks (the more I rewatch them the more I find reasons to feel guilty)

Some Terence Hill and Bud Spencer films, though they make it kinda hard to dissociate pain and pleasure

Any old scifi flick with flying saucers on a string or stop-motion animated monsters

The Hunnebelle "Fantomas" series

And this.
And Buckaroo Banzai, if only because of the reaction my wife gives whenever I mention it.

I thought it was generally considered as a good movie ?

Coelocanth: Who doesn't like this one? It's excellent!
You can count me as hating it (along with most Besson movies). But it's generally considered a huge success and basically everyone was fan of it when it came out. It was like the french "Avatar" in that respect.

eXistenZ

It belongs in any list of films about videogames. I saw it because I saw it because it's a Cronenberg movie and although I did not hate it I can't say I liked it.
Blood of Heroes, post apocalyptic movie where people play a brutal sport called "the game"
first time I watched it was entranced and still watch it every so often.

I Love Christine, and I like some of the others, but Dude, you simply can not defend Prince of Darkness ~

It's a pile of boredom and cinema shit in every sense.
I was about to say "Titus" but the first post says someone has to like it..........ohh well.
Does it count if at least it made me laugh.........for the wrong reasons? :P

As in Titus Andronicus from William Shakespeare? What I think to be his best work ever surpassing Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth.

Maybe in the book.

I am referring to the litirature. And I wish there was a more faithful adaption with characters speaking whatever ancient language the romans were speaking. Latin was it?
I think most of the movies I would name off, most people around here would say they either liked it or it was all right and nothing to be ashamed of. The closest I can think of to something obscure that most would say was either all right or they hated that I enjoyed would be Night Breed. Though, I must admit I haven't watched it all the way through since the 90's.
