chautemoc: Being American is no decent excuse to be an arse. :P In this case it's a "you" thing vs. an American thing. :P
PS. A good troll isn't obvious about it.

I knew when I wrote it I would take a lot of heat, especially from the Middle East, and yes I was right. But what is funny is how everyone accepted it, so I just became the person they wanted. The arrogant American. Was it right? No... And I apologize for my behavior. But GOG really needs to look at not having the downloader use Adobe Flash, code it in JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET or C# any OOP language would be better than running off of Adobe Flash.

Kaidane: Yeah, I can't really use my browser.

I don't think you were clear or effective in making your point and vastly misrepresented yourself.
The downloader uses Adobe AIR. It's not ideal for everyone, but it's worked for everyone but you, so perhaps you need to look at making it function properly as you're the only one with the issue. Maybe the problem is you haven't installed AIR. :P

I beg to differ with you Sir. In less than 24 hours GOG staff has responded to my emails and offered help replies. I think I made my point quite nicely. Kick some cans, make some noise and you will be heard. I kicked and will your look at who’s at my mailbox. and It’s clearly you whom misrepresent himself, because I don’t hide behind a false curtain of secrecy chautemoc. My name is Steven H Wood.

Every time someone like you posts like you have, you reinforce the stereotype of the "ugly American": brutally ignorant, completely self-oblivious, inappropriately arrogant and possessing an inordinate sense of entitlement. The next time you feel the need to do that, do the rest of your countrymen a favor and redirect your energies into something a bit more constructive, like pounding your head repeatedly and violently against a brick wall. You're more than likely to get the same results, which is to say no solution to your problem and a blinding headache.

So that’s your description of an ugly American, you don’t think highly of yourself, stereotyped? Sounds like you have banged your head a time or two. Someone like you will not believe this but when people see United States under your name you are the ugly American without pressing one key on your keyboard. And it’s you who are reinforcing that stereotype behavior with your embellished ego and the overwhelming desire to be right and gain popularity at the mercy and expense of someone else. I notice on your replies you’re always putting someone down in one fashion or other.
And the means did justify the ends. GOG replied in under 24 hours.
