It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hey, I am wondering what your three most used applications are on your computer?
I am not talking games, but the 3 applications that you find yourself using the most when not playing games.
And, No, I am not talking about IE, or FireFox type programs.
For me it is:
1. YNAB (You Need A Budget), Pronounced Y-NAB. It helps you keep a great budget and has been a real eye opener for me personally.
2. MS Office - Use it all the time for work
3. BibleWorks 8 - Bible search program I use all the time. I use nearly as much as Office.
Steam, Media Center, and AIM / MSN messenger
Non game related eh?
1) Firefox
Oh we cant have that...
1) Notepad! :)
That's about it in terms of something that meets your non gaming/browser request. Notepad has a surprising amount of power to it.
ulead video studio, wegame client, and windows movie maker.
ulead video studio - it's like adobe premiere, ask your mother.
wegame client - records select games, takes screenshots, a free fraps if you would
windows movie maker - it's like adobe premiere, ask your mother.

Well if we can't include Steam or Firefox, I'd have to say:
Atlas (and no, it's not anything to do with maps)
Notepad ++
Word 2003

People, I would urge you to write something about the applications you mention, and try to mention something others might not know. I mean, reading that you use MS Office is not very interesting. I think people would be more interested in obscure, but useful programs they never heard of.
1. Notepad++. Lighweight editor that is ideal for many kinds of development. I used to use JEdit, but N++ has almost the same functionality, and works much faster. Works especially well with WinSCP for uploading things to the server.
2. Free Commander. Very ergonomic file manager, that allows me to be much more efficient in many tasks than explorer.
3. Hard to say. VLC Media Player? It's an open source player, that plays almost everything. DVDs, FLV videos, music...

This topic is about the 3 apps you use most, no? Can it be helped if the 3 apps most used are boring work related items? Nope. =P
for me it'd be IE7, Trillian (multi-platform chat application) and either Microsoft Reader or Remote Desktop Connection so I can control my dedicated downloading & storage computers
Let's make it 5!
1. Firefox
2. Mail
3. Xcode
4. Matlab
5. Skype

Man, I hate Matlab. I used it when I was going to University in Mathematics lessons and It made me sick. :S
1. Altap Salamander - Another Windows Commander type application
2. IrfanView - A highly versatile image viewing and basic editing application. Does just about everything I can throw at it except touch up photos, which is where Photoshop comes in
3. OneNote - Microsoft's highly underrated note-taking and personal information management program. I use it for making to do-lists at home, and taking minutes for meetings at work
msn ,chrome and vlc player all good programs !!!
1) Firefox - generally it's opened from the start-up in the morning till the late evening. For fun and for work, anyway.
2) MS-Word 2003 - I'm an editor for Punto Informatico (big site here down in Italy :P) so I use it almost half a day.
3) Thunderbird - same as Firefox, for e-mails and calendaring.
Special guest: MAME32, generally for Ghosts'n Goblins / Ghouls'n Ghosts / Get Star / Black Tiger / King-fu Master / Kuri-Kinton, but lately I'm trying to improve my gaming skill to the mighty and pretty difficult arcade-rpg Cadash :-P
