SteamMonke: Sorry for the tripple post, it appears that anonymous posting is a little broken today. The above two posts were actually one post but for some reason the reply was deleted when I went to post it, hence the second post to repost my actual response.
You may now return to your Steam bashing and plotting of law suits that won't have a chance of getting to court!
Being angry about the way you are treated by a company and service you have been supporting and using for 5 years can excuse a little bashing, especially when said company does not make it a practice to TELL the person why an account has been disabled. It's now Monday afternoon in Steamville and I still have not had any reply from Steam support and my account is still disabled.
Poor customer support is poor customer support any way you say it. To make matters worse when this happened to Weclock I was one of the people who was telling him not to bash Steam over this EXACT SAME ISSUE. Makes me look like quite the fool does it not?
The whole issue of communication is the problem and this is the first time I have ever seen a service suspended without any communication whatsoever and in my oppinion its a totally unacceptable practice especially with an account that has been active for so long. Therefore I will bash and I will make snarky comments on Twitter knowing that Gabe looks at his account and I will blogbash if there is any chance Valve may change this practice.
For the record I already said that attempting to sue Valve was silly.
