You know... I don't post often here. I bought Interstate 76 here after discovering this site, and I read the the threads every so often, and I'd like to be more active but I just don't get as much time as I'd like for forums.
But I just went over to 2K's forums to read up about Civ 5. Wow. There are some serious jerks over there. I mean, I know most YouTube comments transcend moronic. I realize a lot of political blogs just degrade into left/right bashing. But I didn't expect the Civ 5 community to be so... full of (insert profanity here).
And I like a good fight. I'm not really a stranger to flamewars. But I like a fight about something that matters, and I like to leave people's mothers out of it... you know?
Well, it made me notice something I thought I'd take a minute to say... This is a good community. It's fun, smart, active, and civil. I'm glad I found this place. I'm going to try to make more time to hang out here.
GOG does more than gaming right... they do community right.

Yeah. The GOG Community basically owns beyond comprehension. Those guys in the top 10 rep section on the front page of the forums are the guys that rock harder than all of us, though. Each and every one of them deserves a fucking medal. Except Judas who deserves 100 medals.
