This was the theme music for a popular Italian TV show of the 80s.
Catchy tune? Yes!
Good-looking girls? it depends on taste, but... I would definitely say yes, too!
There's a certain amount of slapstick as well (and funny-looking costumes!), with a little bit of 80's nostalgia thrown in (not a bad thing for classic gamers). And the silliest lyrics ever conceived by a human mind - I offer to transcribe and translate them if someone is interested ("cicale" means cicadas, by the way, so we're talking about animals after all! Sorry, no dogs or goats, but you can't have everything... right?)
I hope you find it entertaining enough.
I don't know if this video has already been brought up by someone else (another Italian user, perhaps?), unfortunately I don't have time to watch all the previous entries. And thanks for the giveaway!

Since you said you are interested in local videos that might not be seen internationally by many folks, here is a local version of the famous James Blunt song Your Beautiful by a local band here called 4Paee. The lyrics are an exact translation with a funny play on some words in one of the regional languages of the country I hail from. This doesn't have cats or dogs but it does have a donkey. ;)

Awesome, I am really glad you enjoyed the video and thank you very much for choosing it as one of the winners. While tying to pick the video based on your outline I wanted to pick something that had local flavor that made it stand out but also wouldn't be completely lost in translation for the diverse community here so this one seemed like the best fit.
