A) Sgt. Slaughter
B) Cobra Commander :)

tinyE: technically Zartan was not a member of Cobra but rather a mercenary who was more than willing to turn his back on one employer for the sake of a higher paycheck from another.
For the sake of this giveaway, anyone who works against the Joes, or works for Cobra, will count as a "Cobra" :).

tinyE: ANOTHER SIDE NOTE: My Zartan action figure could turn his head 360 degrees. Anyone else have that?
I really cannot recall if mine was like that or not. According to this site, Zartan's body was moulded as a single piece, so maybe that could explain why.
Nice GA, +1 for you.

1) Check.
2) Count me in (for myself). Check
3) a) Shipwreck

ON:
- Voted. Done.
- Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of G.I. Joe (sorry), I mean the cartoon. The reason (and I understand it was a cartoon for kids), not even point blank would they kill each other. And they used lasers (reminds me of the remake of Episode IV and Greedo vs Solo). Even the robots survived (most of the time). And the pilots of helicopters even jumped from it.

Fever_Discordia: I thought this thread was going to be about 'Yo! Joe! Beat the Ghosts'
http://www.mobygames.com/game/yo-joe-beat-the-ghosts

erm, Joe Camel and Cobra Premium Beer? - You were a BAD kid!
Funnily enough, I think there was a recent thread about that game (can't find it now) which made me think of G.I. Joe, which is what led to this giveaway :)!

Tallima: Are any of the new movies any good? I heard they were bad so I just stayed away. But I only really heard professional reviewers, not normal people.
I enjoyed the first one (Rise of Cobra), have not seen the most recent one yet. I certainly enjoyed it a lot more than all the superhero movies which get much better reviews. But I was into G.I. Joe, I was never into superheroes.

I had the C=64 version too. I got it for x'mas or my birthday, can't recall the exact year I got it though.
Since I like women.
a) Scarlett
b) The Baroness
But damn, the female character list for G.I.Joe is so small :( Where there only 2 female toys?

If you allow a 2nd list, I vote for the two ninjas as most fun toys to play with. Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow of course.
Though having a hooked backpack and a string, you could make any g.i.joe zip-line :D ah memories.
Ah, being taken back to the eighties!

A) Flint
B) Major Bludd

Please, count me in for tinyE, because he is the only one who still belives that the Joes are real: I know he often writes love letters to Scarlett.

My sister had most of the female ones I think (and thus also available for me to play with). Other ones I can recall she had are Zarana and Jinx. Another female was Lady Jaye, and Cover Girl came with the Wolverine vehicle.

I missed the '80's, and I wasn't allowed to watch violent cartoons as a kid (which sucks, let me tell you), so I have very little experience with GI Joe. I've only seen the first couple episodes of Sigma Six, the first couple episodes of... Resolute? The one that came out just before the live-action movie, and said live-action movie.

As for your favourite characters?
A) I'm going to go with Snake Eyes, as Snake Eyes is generally the most popular character, and is a ninja and ninjas were big in the '80's.

B) I'm going to go with Baroness, because I get the impression she was one of the '80's cartoon character everyone had a crush on.
