what is sega's stance on hysterical customer is the enemy style drm? I don't really remember them being attached to anything particularly odious, at least if you discount Alex Kidd
If it is Evil Genius (and hence Rebellion), it would be interesting as Rebellion apparently owns the rights to the Pinball games from Digital Illusions. Dreams, Fantasies, et.c.
Other than that, the focus on strategy makes me think about Paradox, CDV, et.c. Obviously nothing big, like Sega, Actiblizz or EA. Could conceivably be SSI (owned by Ubisoft).

Good tip, that. They certainly have a lot of 1994-2000 era strategy titles with a mix of standard turn-based and realtime games.
I'm betting that SSI is indeed it, and that they will release the Panzer General games here now to begin with.

Oooh that has possibilities... Sadly theyll never be realised since the 2 properties I want (Gold Box D&D compilation & Warhammer 40000 Chaos Gate & Rites Of War) are licenced and would likely be a lot more expensive
Wait a minute, it just occurred to me... d'oh!
"GOG.com will be in upheaval tomorrow. Sinister masterminds, unite!" = "Republic: The Revolution and Evil Genius".
Both by Elixir. :-)

As long as I'm right about evil genius. I don't actually want it, I just want to be right.
Republic might be interesting though
Evil genius is my kind of game!, I have been rooting for it on the forums for a couple of months :)
Instant buy.
Thats also why I chose Myron as my avatar, he's an evil genius in Fallout universe, where he's the inventor of the drug Jet.

Bring on SSI that would be awesome. Also isn't Republic: The Revolution published by Edios interactive?
I know, it's a pretty long shot, but maybe it's Eidos? "Sinister masterminds" could also refer to the godfathers of Gangsters: Organized Crime, now couldn't it?

Yes, but like Evil Genius the rights are now owned by Rebellion. So this must be a deal with Rebellion, not any of the original publishers. If it's the correct games, of course (looking highly likely).
Rebellion owns some interesting IPs, so this could be cool. Rogue Trooper, Pinball Dreams,... :-)
It seems it WAS Rebellion after all...

I was severely disappointed by Republic: The Revolution. In fact, it is one of the few games I have ever gotten rid of. However, it had a great soundtrack. If GOG were to offer that game with the soundtrack as a bonus, I would pay $9.99 for it.
I'm just going to sit back and hopefully they release AVP.

I'd totally dig the second one.

The second was my favourite too, the alien storyline was amazing, all the way from facehugger onwards.
