STD?!

Rohan15: STD?!
Yeah, that doesn't sound very appealing.
Super Tower Defense was not what I was expecting...

STD... what exactly are the 'towers' in this game? O_o
Not really a bundle, kinda an "organized trolling" by devs at indievania. We are the 99%.

Um. How did you post before me? I don't even.
Anyway, just a normal tower. The STD thing is misleading.
Word of warning, download at your own risk. One of the games almost set my external HD on fire because it didn't play well with 64 bit systems.

(When I say fire, I mean literal sparks flew out of it. I'm pretty sure my 300gb of Steam games are borked beyond repair now.)

Which game? I've also read that people have had issues. I feel like deleting them right off without trying any.

Game in particular was Sens3s, but I'd just delete them all anyway. Out of the five I played the only remotely good one is Diamond Hollow II, and it's on Kongregate anyway.

Out of curiosity, where were you reading these other people with issues? I was originally playing them for a review on my website, but I'm thinking I might do a slightly different post now warning about this.

I'm all for indies, but I don't like it when my computer spews fire at me. I mean, shit, I'm only human.

EDIT: Hard drive mostly recovered. I think it was a combination of Steam trying to download while I ran the game, me not installing the proper libraries ahead of time, and the fact that most of the games don't function in 64 bit Windows. But still, I'd avoid this mess altogether.

I can't find it right now and Google is acting strangely for some reason. I remember seeing something about getting blue screens, but for the life of me, I can't find it now. Unless you happen across something like that, just disregard what I've said.

I'm for supporting indie developers (being one myself), but spewing fire... that's just crazy!

Hrm, I can't find anything either, but I remember seeing something like that too. Regardless, I've got at least one witness. My poor desk.

Sorry to hear that...I haven't played it yet, just unzipped...Makes me wonder if I should just ignore this

I think as long as you're on a 32 bit system, and you're playing on the boot drive, and you have the properly compiled files, and you're not running any background tasks, you should be fine. I'm not super willing to try it though.

I had no issues with Super Bogus World, Spino's Dangerous Dungeons, Diamond Hollow II, Unnamed Sandbox Game and Unstoppaball. Those worked great, but I didn't try any after Sens3s. For all I know it could be an isolated thing, but it might not. So definitely be careful.
Think ill pass on this bundle as it is now difficult to keep up with so many of them.
