Last night i went to see TED, and i found it terrible...

We even debated leaving midway through and we go to the movies all the time and this only happened twice before (Troy and Romeo must die). I have no idea how anybody can find this funny. If you do, then good for you because you had a good time with, we did not. 99 out of a 100 jokes didn't work, Mark Walhberg is even worse then usual. The only things that were funny were the cameos. (i was not alone because almost nobody in the theater laughed, it was embarrising)

To be honest i don't find family guy all that funny too, but djeez is this seth macfarlane overrated or what... I actually really like rude humour, but this, this was not funny, at all.

Did anyone of you seen it? What did you think? What did you find funny and why?
Evidently you havent seen Rock of Ages, it has no rock and it goes on for ages.

I remember seeing the trailer, and thinking that I would realy hate to see this movie. I got the impression that the makers had thaught that a teddy bear drinking beer and getting laid in it self is funny. And I am shure it could be, but this didn't seem like a movie that would like to surprise.
On the other hand some of my frineds realy enjoyed it. I still don't feel an urge to see it though.

My worst movie experience is "my little eye": A stupid teen horror movie based on a stupid "what if"-idea in a paradise hotel like setting.

Wholeheartedly agree.

If this movie is the worst you've seen, you must've seen only great movie classics.

Yeah i noticed a lot of people liked it but i can not understand why. I have seen a lot of shitty movies but nothing like this where almost everything didn't work. It's not that i don't like this type of humor because i do (i can probably laugh about every topic, if the joke is decent), but here the jokes were just not working. Mark Walhberg isn't a good actor but here it was really terrible. Somehow i think there are legions of seth macfarlane fans that think everything he does is great.

Again if you (in general, not you specifik keeveek) liked it, good for you. You had a good experience.
Apparently you never watched screen "gems" such as "Blood Circus" (a movie about a wrestling match between US professionals and alien man-eaters, interspersed with commercials about the movie producer's mail-order jewelry service), or "Galactic Gigolo" (the adventures of an intelligent alien Broccoli who wins a trip to Earth in an intergalactic quiz show, and then goes on to seduce Terran women, who for some reason can't resist him).

I haven't seen Ted, but a comedy that just doesn't make movie goers laugh is not even halfway to the bottom of the barrel. ;)

Worst movie I've ever seen was The Langoliers. Terrible, just terrible, in every possible way.

Fair enough, but well comedies have 1 objective i think (certainly movies like ted) and that's making people laugh, so when that doesn't happen at all, it's a terrible comedy. Again i disliked it, most of the people in the theatre didn't laugh at all, but there are a lot of people who claim they liked it and i am curious why. (I just hope, it's not just because it dares to be offensive, i like offensive jokes, but these where just not funny for me, and i can laugh with a lot of things)
Recently I saw Ghost Rider 2 and I don't think that anything can be worse...

I actually like that movie a lot more then ted. I like the atmosphere it had when they landed. I didn't like it when the langoliers arrived but hey at least i liked the first part ;)

It didn't make even the slightest bit of sense. Half of the plot was based on a deaf girl overhearing something......

I don't debate that Ted might be a bad comedy - as said above, I haven't seen it. However, from the production values and the skill level of the people involved, it's pretty safe to say that this movie _can't_ be worse than the two I mentioned. And I'm not even saying that the skill level of the people involved in making Ted is particularly high - that's kind of the point, they could have produced a terrible movie and it would still beat "Blood Circus" or "Galactic Gigolo" by a landslide. Read their user reviews at the IMDb. :)
