ovoon: Screw LucasArts. They sold out on us. When they made The Clone Wars and it's 2 horrid games is became obvious. And then the broken, short, gimmicky Force Unleashed. But other than the good OLD lucas arts that made x wing, the adventure games and such, what did they make that was good since then? I'ts all been other studios like Bioware, pandemic and RavenSoft.

Uh...Star Wars Episode 1 Racer? :|

Actually, I still take SW: Republic Commando as the first Lucas Arts game with soul they've made since then. And, of course, Jedi Knigts, but I thik that falls into that cathegory.. Or doesn'T it?

No Jedi Knight was by RavenSoft
So... their new game is Lucidity, a puzzle-platformer for XBLA. Yay?
Definitely yay.
The combination of new IP in unusual genre (sounds like lemmings) with weird and creative sounding story and strange graphics easily beats only available for one platform

Republic Commando wasn't in house either. I don't think they've made an in house FPS, for that matter.

360-only adventure game from Lucasarts? I'm laughing, but it's not a happy laugh.

Dark Forces and Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight was both made inhouse at LA, as was Outlaws.

My reaction exactly. Well, I guess there may be hope it will arrive on the PC one day, if it sells good. I don't really mind all that much though, I'm sure LA has plenty of other things up their sleeve the for coming months, for the PC as well. The drip-feed announcement thing is getting rather tedious though, I'm still hoping for another retro-explosion next time. ;)

At this point I'm simply inclined to leave Lucasarts to their own devices. The whole announcing their announcement of impending announcements thing got old fast.
While it would be great if they release their back catalogue here (or more of it on Steam), I can read those announcements here/Steam anyway.
Edit: As it turns out, it's on PC anyway.

I'm still happy about KOTOR on Steam.
Another announcement: Jedi Knight series coming to Steam

FANTASTIC! Jedi Academy has been going for collector prices for far too long.
I'm so excited! Again! I never got to play any of these games!
