It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Does anyone have a yahoo email that they cannot log in to currently?

I use this email address for a few things and I finally need to access it and when I try loading it on either comuter it will not log in, It is not that I have forgotten the login details, I enter the details click log in and it just refreshes the log in screen asking for the log in info again.

I have tried on chrome and IE on 2 systems and cannot access the emails. My mobile phone can open the email but the specific email I am needing the phone cannot seem to open.

But yeah, long story short, is this an isolated thing or is it more widespread? I have done a little searching an not found anything concrete.

There is something fishy going on. I have a Yahoo account (OldeFatGuy with Olde spelled in ye olde time English because plaing OldFatGuy was taken) and while I can log in and check my email, over the past two or three weeks I'm always getting a screen immediately after logging in saying access denied because of some security thing.

I'll log out again, then log in again, and take a snipping tool pic of what I'm talking about.

I don't have a Yahoo email, but maybe you have some add-on or setting in your browsers that's blocking a needed script or something as a result of Yahoo making changes since your last log in - that's assuming it's not an issue on their end.

Just a wild guess.
No problems here. Might be something to do with heartbleed patching process?
Here is the screenshot of the message I get now, and have been, for that past few weeks every time I log in.

As a test, I used a tunnel to a US IP address and tried to open it from that. I got in first try.

WTF?

I dunno, I'll try FireFox now.

Same thing happens, although the screen looks a little different in Firefox. (See attached)

It is generated by your browser rather than yahoo.

I have yahoo mail and have no trouble accessing it (via firefox on PC and smartphone) now or in recent days.

reaver894, perhaps you should try to delete your cookies?
yeah best bet for both of you would be to go to your cookies settings and kill everything connected to yahoo, might fixes it

That seems odd, it's not Yahoo yet I see it on two different browsers?? Seeing it on different browsers like this would normally seem to indicate the problem is at Yahoo, wouldn't it?

I just cleared all of my cookies (which means I had re-sign in here and at my home page) and went to Yahoo to log in and once again got the same security message.

I think the problem must be on Yahoo's end.

OldFatGuy: *snip*
Hmm...but if it was a problem on Yahoo's end wouldn't more people be getting this security warning. I just logged in to my yahoo mail account without any warnings or problems. As for the OP Reaver894 the situation you're describing happens when you enter incorrect login credentials, maybe you don't remember but passwords for yahoo mail are case sensitive and you forgot to use the Capital letters.

As far as I understand it this kind of messages (I encounter those before but never on yahoo) are generated by the browser when it fail to make a secure connection to a site that require such connection. I can't say why it fail in your case.
