Anyways, good to know the gift codes will still work after the game is pulled. Thanks for clearing that up!

Just bought it, could any of you in the staff tell me if the extras (manuals, wallpapers, avatars and specially the soundtrack) will be removed from our shelves?
Also, why isn't this in the front page or at least pinned?

No announcement of this type was pinned so far, I doubt they'll change it in future.

I'll recycle Roman5's attachment from earlier in the thread: http://static.gog.com/upload/forum/2012/12/e76e602be3d6d90f16f6fb10c132517ce88e0fcf.gif
NOTHING that I've been able to see, either in the process of purchasing a gift, or in the emails you receive afterwards, suggest that this would be the case, and there is NO sane reason for GOG to expire them -- that is an evil and user-hostile practice, and I'm horrified that you are doing it.
Not all gifts are bought for immediate usage. For instance, I have a copy of "Thief" sitting around to give away to someone some day (for unknown values of both those variables); and the recipient of a gift could easily forget all about it, and then be reminded of it some time after the expiry date.
Expiry dates for gift vouchers are wrong. They're just wrong. Don't do it. Stop doing it!!

The only reason this would ever matter is if you intend to stockpile games going off GOG in order to make rather lopsided trades for years down the line.

Cos I missed the announcement that Second Sight was going to be removed, and now I can't even find it on my games list. :'(
I so loved that game too. Spewin as.
Not going to let that happen with XIII. Even if I'm in no real rush to play it again. Unlike Second Sight, Which I would have loved to play again Cos it is awesome.

This makes me doubt you actually have read any of them, the game hasn't got any substance in its entire 2GB container than what the comics have in its little pinky.
That said, the game wasn't all bad, just a mediocre FPS with comic style graphics, which by the way wasn't very appropriate as the comics are very cinematic and realisticly drawn.

Actually, I had almost overlooked the game just because I expected it to be as bad as the comics. It turned out a great little surprise.
