I bought a gift code for XIII and posted it somewhere. Is this a scavenger hunt? Is this a puzzle? It's a scavenger hunt and a puzzle! Your first clue is right here in this thread.

Haha, that was faster than expected. Congratulations Mohdar, you deserve it. Feel free to post your solution but maybe preface spoilers with a spoiler warning. I'll leave the page up for a few more days if anyone would like a chance to solve the mystery anyway.

Ok, so if anyone wants to try to find the code by him/herself, please stop reading :)
Darling_Jimmy had forums title of: radiogaygay.com so that was the site i checked first. On it, there was screenshot of XIII's gog.com page, but if you checked contents of the page, you could find a wav file named 13.wav
When you tried to hear what is in that file, there was only some clicking noise, so i just googled "how to hide something in wav file" opened the youtube link and used Sonic Visualizer app that was mention in that video.
The result was a QR code that i decrypted with http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx.
Voila - the code was there :)

I already have XIII, so maybe my motivation to find the code was not waht it should have been to follow through to the end. I got as far as finding the 13.wav. It was pretty obvious the next step was to somehow dig through that somehow, but I had NFI how that was done, so gave up!
Sure I would have thought to Google. You know.. eventually.
