i see Simon's point, but i have to say that i'm buying GOG editions so that i don't have to go to places where games are illegally shared.

Neither in Germany.

But only the downloading is illegal. And that due to some corporate lobbying.

Is that going to be basis for your reasoning? It won't be for mine.

It's only an emergency option for when GOG can't provide my games anymore. Still better than bothering with back ups. At least for me.

Maybe I am not missing Gothic, maybe I never got around to buying it? Is it sad I am not sure?

In any case there was a weird gap in front of Gothic 2.
