http://uk.xfirestore.com/ I notice they don't list DRM. Also the prices are out of most Europeans' league at the moment.
Actually just browsing and there are a few bargains. Specifically Total Annihilation £4.99, Shogun: Total War £4.99, Act of War Complete £9.99, Overlord £4.99, The Suffering £4.99 and Frontlines £7.82.
Worth keeping an eye on actually. Especially for the Sega games. Probably hard to get working on Vista/7 though.

Cool. Interface sucks by the way.
it looks like it uses the Steam store for most of it. Trine is a steam only release.

...uhhh...what? Trine's also on Gamersgate and D2D.
Hmmm, key words at the bottom of the site:
"Powered by Metaboli"
Its really not a new store at all, its the same thing as http://www.metaboli.co.uk/.

I don't think so.
Metaboli charges a monthly subscription for acess to a 'pack' of games, doesn't charge for individual games.
Besides, there are more stores, real stores, powered by Metaboli.
Games Planet and Adventure Shop come to mind

My point exactly, all those stores are really all the same thing, just with different colors and possibly a slightly different interface layout. That site I linked to is just the company's main site, but if you check their "about us" page, it explains what they really are:
Metaboli is Europe's leading distributor of video games for download.
With a network of more than 50 partner sites Metaboli uniquely provides both a Games on Demand, subscription based, service and a Download to Own, outright purchase, platform.
Metaboli has established partnerships with many of Europe's leading Internet portals, including Virgin Media, Game, Orange, Free, Neuf Telecom, AOL, Club-Internet, fnac, Telecom Italia, Wind, Web.de, Gamesradar, Eurogamer, pcgames.de and computec.de. Metaboli's service is also available on www.metaboli.com, www.metaboli.fr (France), www.metaboli.co.uk (United Kingdom), www.metaboli.de (Germany), www.metaboli.it (Italy).
The most prestigious publishers, such as Microsoft, Sega, THQ, Take 2 and Ubisoft, entrust their games to Metaboli for download and, thanks to more than 40 content partners in total, Metaboli can offer the very best catalogue of video games, available to download, in Europe.

Oh, i see. I thought you meant it was a 'download to play' service like Meta and not a 'download to own' like a 'real' store.
Yep, the Xfire one seems to have the exact same stuff as Games Planet, Adventure Shop being the 'unique' one of these three regarding the titles it has to offer.
No US love here? no awesome Xfire store with no DRM...

try us.xfirestore.com ;-)
no, seriously. the prices seem roughly equivilent, give or take a few cents/pence. But there are slightly different catalogues.
The Help section doesn't give ANY information about DRM, Activation, Regional restrictions, etc... so i really have no idea.

Games Planet doesn't use steam and they have Trine...
