Nice, I'll finally get to play this. I ain't touching alpha/beta versions of any game. Just need to cross just a couple other games off the backlog first.

Yes, GOG said the price the developer had proposed was too high (I think it was $25).

Yes the game costs(here) 17 EUR 23 dollars if not mistaked.Personally i think the game is well worth it.

It was, but thats years ago when gog had a very different structure. There is hope they consider it now.

They probably do and I hope it will be on GOG rather sooner than later. Here is the wishlist entry, one should vote for it: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/xenonauts

Also one shouldn't think there is any final version for the forseeable future. It's just the official release. Surely there are still tons of bugs to be fixed and AI to be improved. I backed Xenonauts and therefore get my DRM free copy from Desura, but I won't download and play it before three months of now. Just to give them enough time to really fix more.

I'm a backer too and I get the Desura DRM-free copy as well. Xenonauts will be a great addition to GOG if that's possible.

Me too, although it be over a GB or two in size has stopped me downloading it a few times .....

There's no drm-free version on humble store yet. It just gave me the steam key. I hope this game is released on gog.

Hopefully they can. Been waiting for this game for a while, would be nice to have it here. If there's some official word from GOG about it, I would be happy to wait. Otherwise it's a Steam key for me before the end of the month :)

GOG would be hella stupid to not reverse there "oh this game is too expensive" policy for this one. I played the beta/early/whatever it's called and this stuff is great.

There have been some releases on GOG in the last year and a half that had me wondering at the level of price point. I don't see why they can't make an exception here.
