It is, apparently they're somewhat stealthed and they jump on you and incapacitate you and someone else will have to shoot them off. I guess you can see them like those spiders from Aliens :p

I would've preferred spiders to floaty things personally but oh well, mec's are still awesome :p

I am really fucked off by this. The countdown timer had finished, but I was unable to load the game. Searched forums all over the internets and apparently a lot of people were having trouble with the keys not being recognised (in NA). Finally read that the the game does not release until Friday in Europe (as in at 1am on Friday morning. All of this happened during Thursday evening). Restarted Steam after 1am and the game finally loaded but it was obviously already bedtime. What the fuck is the point of having this timer in the first place if it is just full of shit. Obviously nothing from developers or Steam. And fuck pre-ordering anything else.

Steam store did show from the start that EU release date was the 15th though, annoying as that difference between US and EU might have been. At least it released on 1AM here which was the time people were saying it would.

I'm interested in hearing opinions when people actually get to play it. From what I've read, it doesn't fix fundamental issues I had with the game, instead just adding more content. The content sounds cool, but I'd probably just get frustrated with it again.

Without knowing what your fundamental issues were I really don't know what to say, loving it so far myself. But then I liked the original as well.

Actually 2 K SAID that the game release outside USA would be Friday 15th not before or after. Clearly it was Steam fault for messing with the timer.
