I see you WOW addicts... I mean fans! In a few month's time:)
Whitecroc: In retrospect I have no idea how we could ever find vanilla WoW fun. Compared to its expansions, the vanilla experience is just so... hostile to players. Grinding was absurd, only a small number of players actually got to see the best content and a number of anti-frustration mechanics we take for granted now simply didn't exist back then - in fact, the developers back then argued against a number of them, I think. Because it was actually hard. I won't disagree that some parts were stupidly grindy (grinding for gold was lame and so was respec costs to get out of your raid spec or back in). But IF you were in said exclusive club of end game raiders, there hasn't been much since then, afaik, that's ever come close.
