And believe me it looks the real deal almost like a parody of Michael Bay.

Why must all reboots feel so... samey? I thought I was seeing a trailer for Amazing Spider-Man for a moment.
Y u no pick Gemma Arterton for April!

But that's besides the point, I will stay far from this drivel, Michael Bay has done enough to my childhood icons already.

Its a trend, everyone wants to copy the works of Christopher Nolan's Batman/Inception, Zack Snyder's 300/Watchmen/Man of Steel. And now Michael Bay with his Transformers.
It was better than I thought actually, only thing that bugged me was how un turtley the turtles look.

Shredder was alot better than I thought he would be, seems like they combined him with Baxter Stockman as he is a scientist in this
Woah there, April 1st is a few days away yet...

I mean, you started early didn't you? Didn't you? Please tell me you did?

Lol, maybe it'll be so bad it's good? But I can't imagine rushing off to buy a ticket for this one; after the Transformers thingies I wasn't expecting anything..and I am still disappointed :D

I am willing to give her a chance because actors can surprise you, but I don't expect the movie to bring anything but empty entertainment, both in terms of story or characters.
I hate Michael Bay... Who the fuck keeps giving him money to make movies ?

Same people who keep giving other mad directors money to rehash their films from yesteryear. IDIOTS!
I`ll be giving this a miss.
Well, at least he kept them as mutants, not aliens like he originally said he would...
The trailer doesn't do much to make it look appealing, and if the trailer blows....

I actually wanted a TMNT reboot, but I wanted it aimed at me - one of the original fans. But the turtles are in a weird place by still being popular with kids, so there is no way this isn't going to be aimed a good deal at them. Of course then they probably are trying to make it a movie for the old fans too, and will end up doing a lousy job of both.
Looks like I wasn't the only one who thought of Shrek near the end of the trailer.
I'm willing to give this movie a try. While people complain about Michael Bay, I still enjoyed Bad Boys 1 & 2, The Rock, and Armageddon.

Also, I found it funny how people complained about the third Transformers movie being nothing but "robots fighting each other" when that was what the TV show it was based off of was about. What did people expect when they went to see a movie based on a kids' show about fighting robots?

Anyway, I'm going to give this movie a try. I thought the original live action movies were pretty entertaining although I found them a bit corny when I saw them again not too long ago.
Looked fine to me but yet I am not one to jump on the "Michael Bay is the devil" band wagon. The guy makes mindless fun films, something that is sorely lacking in todays world. His films aren't perfect but they tend not to be as bad as people make them out to be.

Honestly, regarding his transformers films. I think people just moaned for the sake of it. I rather enjoyed the third film... it was exactly what I wanted.
