Apple Care is an extremely good warranty. My brother has fucked his laptop up (his fault half the time) multiple times and they've paid to replace it with brand new components each time. He's also gotten complete iPhone replacements, etc. I don't like Apple or Apple products in general (aside from a few, like old, matte screen Cinema Displays) but their Apple Care is top notch.

But there's no earth pin in a 2 slot socket! Think of the children, won't somebody please think of the children! D; D; D; D; D; D; D; D; D;

I'm confused - every company out there does this, why is this special? I mean, my Xbox 360 was struck by lightning and Microsoft got it picked up in an hour and two days later I had it back with an improved disc drive (which was not broken before) and half the stuff inside replaced. I got a new brand of motherboard when an old one broke down too, etc. etc. It's standard practice because, as has been said, they don't keep stock.

By the way, if anyone wants needs a mp3 player, get the Sansa Clip + - better sound than the iPod Nano, supports FLAC files, has a longer battery life, is a lot cheaper and supports a micro SD card.

Ah yes, I see them. I think the only advantages the UK plugs have now is that they're really hard to pull out by accident (and really hard to pull out deliberately) not to mention their ability to cause burglars immense pain if they stand on them (of course they also do this to you).

The original firmware supports only Micro SD but you get Micro SDHC support when you replace the firmware with Rockbox

Very very cheap considering how great the sound is and the battery lasts about 15 hours.

No idea about Rockbox but yes, this is the older model which is said to be better. It's very solid and there's a clip at the back too, which is handy. The only negative, is that you need to be careful what region you pick upon the first start up because of EU laws - it may limit the maximum volume. Not that this is anything new - my old Creative Zen had the same problem and that's 4 years old now at least.
