Alright lemme say that the girl I've been semi-dating (we're casual about it) loves to play games. Even her sister loves to play games, which becomes a double bonus if I become a Mormon hehehe. But I don't need to PAY for them to play games. I am sure some of the chicks will think of it more like a job and might have a bad day or two, which would waste the money of the poor sap they're with. Hookers are cheaper in real life anyway, why can't these sad individuals just get some real a$$.

It would be easy. Have a site that let's you to pay to buy a "UB3R-1337-G4M3R-D00D" to play on you team in Halo or something, so you can win. I think that would be slightly more pathetic, no?

Good point. However those 1337 h4xx0rz would be probably more expensive than some girl. You know, showing one's 1337 skillz isn't free, thus not affordable for everyone.

There seems to be a critical mass of sad where it goes from being pathetic and cheap to suddenly being grossly overpriced. If someone could identify and harness that turning point they could make billions

You know I remember in the day when I played L4D whenever a chick hits the server then everybody would be flirting with her and all that. Maybe gaming mixed with a chick hits a certain cord with the average gamer and makes insto-erections.
^^Doesn't for me because I get the gaming chick free anyway but I have seen firsthand how people will fall for a gamer-chick that they don't even know what she looks like, just hearing her voice made some pre-puberty kids damn near orgasm on the mic (ugggh horrid memories of why I left L4D)

I think that's much less pathetic but still pretty damn pathetic. I wouldn't do either because
A.Even though i am horrible at social situations i prefer to be alone anyway. I'd rather get rejected and put down than do that

Wow I must be saving a fortune! Every weekend on Saturday and Sunday, I play at least 5 hours of games online with the sweetest (and great looking) girl (long story) for free *laughs*.
But yeah, I enjoy gaming online with girls. Since 2002, when a girl I met was into Soldiers of Fortune 2, I always enjoyed it. Man, those were fun times! After that Diablo II, Ultima Online, World of Warcraft, Guildwars, Everquest II, Aion, etc. etc.
Ultima Online was the best since you could really roleplay there - own a house together, act like a real couple there, etc.
But pay for it? Never. Its appeal comes from knowing it's someone you really get along with and someone who enjoys playing with you. When you got greedy whores who will string you along to make a quick buck and will happily fleece poor gamers, I wouldn't even want to talk to them for free.
