Cavalary: For lack of a better term. Definitely a far cry more "proper" than any sort of "modern" vampires we're being flooded with in recent years.
The WoD vampires ARE the "modern" countercultural vampires from Anne Rice onward (seriously, it's been almost 40 years, how old are you?). Oldskool vampires are monsters that you the human protagonist stake in the heart in the name of manly friendship.

Actual, the real oldschool vampires are "Wiedergänger" a bit similar to the main protagonist of Planescape: Torment afaik, that should have been around the time when people believed in Nachtalben/Nachtmahre (Night albs, Night mares).

I've read it before and i HAVE to say it again :

CDProjekt Red is the MOST trustworthy company RIGHT NOW that can take this IP and make a great RPG Game (In the style of Bloodlines).
Should we make a thread about it?
