Charlie Brooker totally trashed Wolfenstein on his show, so no thanks.
Too late, Activision... too late.
Release a demo on or before the release date, or just don't bother.
There's no chance of me buying this one. Not only is it a mediocre game, but it's a mediocre Kotick game.
Maybe I can give $15 or $20 but not $50 thanks.

I think the idea is to get the game out, then put resources into a demo later. I think it's a valid approach, although kind of "asking for it" on PC.

A game won't have a demo for one of two reasons.
1) The game sucks and they don't want to lose sales.
or
2) The game is guaranteed to sell millions of copies anyway.
So when you don't see a demo and the game isn't from one of the mega franchises, you do have to wonder about the quality (and I don't consider Wolfenstein a mega franchise).

The game is actually incredible. I don't support Raven Software though, because they want you and I to have to go to the store and pay retail price for their titles.
I don't buyed (nor played, aside demos) any Activision published game since RTCW or first Call of duty, because of their prices are extremely high.
And, unlike other companies, they still sell this "old" titles with high prices (at least in Spain): in Steam and stores Wolfenstein: 60€, RTCW:20€, Call of duty 1: 20€, Call of duty 1 Expansion: 20€, Call of duty 2: 20€, ¡¡¡Call of duty 4: 50€!!!, Call of duty 5:50€...
Those are games that don't disturbe my sleep, but their prices are desproportionated...

He proved that Dara O Brien actually follows traffic laws in GTA 4. Amazing.

That would be Activision's decision.

I disagree. The fact that NO Raven Software titles are available via DD, while MANY Activision titles are support my suspicion.
