SimonG: Anybody of you played the recent Call of Duty games?
Well to be fair Call of Duty games, even modern ones, are very corridorish. Sometimes they manage to give you an impression that they aren't, but then you try to stray off the path and the game punishes you / doesn't really let you, or presents you with two paths going alongside each other.
They need to make another CoD like WaW. Don't care if it's kinda corridor-ish if it's brutal and disgusting. >:D

It's just that the CoD franchise is moving away from that (as good as it goes with such a heavily scripted game.) and many people are ignoring the good changes BO II made. Which would be a shame, because I hope this continues.

I was really, really surprised by how well BO II was. I can highly recommend to play a "demo" of the game if you aren't into MP. I'm not paying 60$ for it, but I'll go for it with a thirty 30$ pricetag. It is the first CoD I stopped playing the pirated version because it felt cheap.

It sold worse than other COD games, maybe because +18 raiting, so it's highly, highly doubtful.

In fact, it's the only COD in the history that sold worse than it's predicesstor.

SimonG: snip
Remember that it's Infinity Ward's turn. Next MW4 game will probably just as boring as ever.

If you expect the franchise to evolve, you should rather wait for another Treyarch game.

What a shame. I guess people don't like bits of gore and limbs flying all over in the mud :(

Less parents bought it as a birthday present for their 10 year old brats.

Oh very funny.
...I don't recall Wolfenstein 3-d being quite that easy. :P

Well it did have two more dimensions of difficulty.

The first episode was quite easy. But I remember being like WTF when I tried to play that second set of missions on anything over the lowest difficulty setting.

That first level with those mutants with the guns in their chests was absolutely brutal. You mostly had to stealth through it and save often.
Ha! Found this on, where else, r/gaming. Amusing, but I'd rather play the original (having never experienced it).

EDIT: Again with iD's 8 dollar price bracket; can GOG bring it down to 6 or would we accept a 10? http://store.steampowered.com/app/2270/

I thought this was a necro'd thread, but then I saw the timestamp on the op. You're late to the party.

tinyE: HAHAHAHAHA
It's still better looking than the original Wolf on Apple//. Am I the only one who remembers playing that mess?!
No, you aren't.

I loved playing the apple version though.
Can someone try sending $35 to this address?

Are there actually additional episodes to this amazing 1-D experience?
