Actually any RPC can enter any area, but you'll have to make them unconscious before entry, and after revival they'll complain all the time and have reduced stats. Still it's better than having to chase them afterwards (not mentioning a bug which can make them disappear totally from the game).

Or you can use teleporting. :D

I dont know how to teleport, maybe I should read that manual :)

I found a guy selling Magic Screen book, and in the INV, when I click on Vi, the book isnt "red", but when I try to get her to read it ("Use Item"), it says she isnt powerful enough to understand the writing her Divinity is 14 and her divine Magic is 23, any I dea what score she needs to read the book?

Any idea who sells bombs, like Cherry bombs etc. I met 3 damn mages plus 7 bandits and 3 summoned elemental monsters, only thing that got me out of trouble was cherry bombs, but I have none left now.

Thanks for the replies, help and patience guys :)
You can make cherry bombs. Don't remember the recipe, but google or Cosmic Forge can tell you.

Teleport isn't a spell in the traditional sense in the game. There are a pair of level 5 spells, "Set Portal" and "Remove Portal". Set Portal allows you to designate a spot to which you can teleport from anywhere else, which can be extremely useful if a combat is going badly, or if you want to reduce travel time. Remove Portal erases the current portal so that you can reset it somewhere else.

I believe the reqs for Magic Screen are a Divinity score of 20 and a Divine Magic of 25 or some combination of the two that equals 40 or 45. It's somewhere thereabouts.

Anna in Arnika may have Cherry Bombs in stock. Fuzzfas in Trynton almost always has them. Crock in the Swamp, too.

There are several teleports in the game, but they must be activated first. Later in the game you
can also learn teleport spell, but you must have a poverfull mage in your party.
As for Magic book, no idea what is exact score needed to learn that spell, but just level up a
little bit by usic magic a she'll be able to learn the spell soon. Maybe you don't know this, but
when you are going to camp (rest), in safe place of course, try to use all your remaining spell
points by casting spells. This way you can learn spells really quick.

Level 1 spells require nothing, 2 spells need level 3 and 15 skill, 3 spells need level 5 and 30 skill, 4 spells need level 8 and 45 skill, 5 spells need level 11 and 60 skill, 6 spells need level 14 and 75 skill, and 7 spells need level 18 and 90 skill. For an individual spell, the sphere skill (fire magic, divine magic etc) counts for 1/10th of its value. So for Boiling Blood, a 6th level fire spell, you could learn it with 75 alchemy regardless of fire skill, or at 65 alchemy with 100 fire skill, and so on. Hybrid classes count as -4 for level requirements (but not skill requirements).

So for Magic Screen, she'll need to get to level 9 and get her combined (divine) Divinity skill up to 30 before she can learn it.

EDIT: Gadgets and musical instruments have the same level requirements as the spells they cast, but the skill requirements tend to vary. They're usually pretty close, though.

OK guys thanks for all that info, its much appreciated, I heard of the set portal thing but didnt know about the waypoints.

I'll keep an eye out for those cherry bombs, probably need to rest/reload a few times, maybe they will appear in the inventories. I dont have anyone that can craft them.

Thanks for the heads up on the scoring system for the spells, as the book appeared "red" for everyone except Vi, I thought I had a bug or something, when she couldnt read it.

Once again, thanks all for the help :)
Kinda done in Trynton, picked up Madras for Myles to see if gadgeteer is any good.

Anyway, I found a couple of helmets called "beanies" that give -10 INT, is there some use for these, the AC is crap, something like +1, but they just seem like very odd loot with a -10 INT, I was wondering if there was some use for them I havent found yet.

Thanks for any help :)

There's no hidden use for the beanies that I know of. They're something of an in-game joke, I think. I always sell them.

TBH, I don't remember anything bout them, but after a little bit of googling I found that gadgeteer can make some inteligence-boost thingy from them.

Ah, OK, I think I remember something about a propeller attachment for gadgeteers back a long time ago, that could be what it's about, thanks for the replies and keeping me sane guys :)

Really? See, this is one of the things that I truly love about Wiz 8. I have played this game through to conclusion a dozen times and have played incomplete games hundreds of times more and yet I still learn new things.

Yup, this game should be played over and over again. But I finished it only twice, shame on me. :D
Sadly, Beanies can't be combined with anything to make anything. They're just a joke. (At least they aren't cursed.) There ARE several gadgets that exist in the files but aren't found anywhere, like the Electroshocker(Resurrect) the Demon in the Box (upgrade to Jack in the Box, Psionic Blast) and the Watchdog Alarm (Shadow Hound) but there's nothing that can be created in the unmodded game with the Beanie.

There are actually quite a few unused items, such as items from previous games that aren't imported (Elven Bow, Rammbus Staff, Necromantic Helm, etc... there are quite a few of them) or new items that simply don't appear ingame (Ring of Felix, Book of Mind Stab, Bullroarer). There are a few that don't even have items to them, only icons and models, and have been added into the game by mods like the Trident of the Fathers.
