Strijkbout: I wouldn't hold my breath until GOG decides to sell this game, so if you want there are two things you can try.
Install Windows 3.x within Dosbox, this is probably the easiest way to get Space Bucks running.
Or.., use Virtualbox, I haven't used this myself, but they claim it should run Windows 3.x, perhaps you need to install MS-DOS first for this one.

Edit:

By the way, you say it only crashes during videos, right?
You might want to look in the install folder of Space Bucks and see if you can find the codec or videoplayer responsible, if there is try renaming or deleting it so the game uses Windows own codec.
I didn't know you could install Windows 3.x into DOSBox, that's neat-o! Might make a better interface for selecting and loading up games?
Windows 3.11 works fine in DOSbox. I recommend you follow this guide, as you'll need to do some funky stuff to get the drivers working properly.

JTD121: Yeah, I agree with the on-topic posts.

Take a *.conf from another GOG game, and DOSBox, and see if your game will run with it. It should, being a Windows 3.x game.
Wut.

Windows 3.x games require Windows 3.x or above. If it'll run in DOS, it's a DOS game.

You can even install Windows 9x if you want, but then it is probably better to use Virtualbox.
If you want an interface to load games, use D-Fend or another Dosbox frontend.
Don't load dosgames in Windows 3.x because of the overhead Windows 3.x already has, use it only for games that need Windows 3.x as a platform.

Er....I meant if it's a DOS game, to take those steps to see if it all works? Modify the .conf as necessary.....?

But you were talking about it being a Windows 3.x game... I was just saying if it's a W3.x game then it won't run on DOS.

Your idea was sound if it's a DOS game, but wouldn't work for a Windows game, that's all.

Yeah, I understood the implication, though I am not really sure if Win 3.x games specifically require Win 3.x, since it's a DOS-based window manager, but at this point we're picking nits :)

Ah no, Windows 3.x is not a DOS based window manager, it is an actual OS that runs within DOS and most 3.x titles require access to it's DLLs, hooks, API, and handlers. So yes if it says requires 3.1 or 3.11 it does require windows, especially games like say SimTower which requires WINGS, a predecessor to DirectX.
AH, alright. I grew up just as Win3.x was on its way out, and almost all the games I had were DOS games, rather than Windows ;)
