I have just pre-ordered Witcher 3, and I have received my 2 codes of Fair Price Package.

I am a bit confused about what I should do with them. It says I can redeem them, but how does money code redeem work? GOG doesn't have a wallet as Steam does, so what can I do with it?

You choose any game with price 5.99 $ or lower.

Redeem each code and then you'll be presented with all the $5.99 games available on GOG. Select one of them, redeem it and, voila, the game is yours.

The codes allow you to spend the extra regional money you had to spend on some full priced games on the store. It's not exactly fair pricing, but it's better than buying it for Euro's and not getting anything extra.

Eventually when they implement the wallet you'll get the exact amount in wallet cash which I assume you'll be able to spend on anything, not just full priced items.

- If I have 2 codes, each worth 5.99, can I combine them to buy a game for 9.99? (most of the games I have in my wishlist are around that same price)
- can I buy multiple games? For example one for 1.99 + 2.99? Then maybe I wait for the summer sale :)

Unfortunately, no. You can only use each code for a single $5.99 game, thus totaling two $5.99 games. GOG has no wallet to speak of for the time being.

Well, I hope the codes have a long validity, either until one of my wish listed games goes on sale, or GOG wallet is implemented.

If I'm correct, those specific GOG codes will last you exactly one year. I suggest you speak to Support, though, to verify their longevity.

Are you sure it's 2x 5.99? What's the EU price for the game?

Edit: But come to think of it, this is correct. Assuming he owns both Witcher games already, he pays a total of €44 and gets 2 $6 codes. Thus, about $65.

I live in Germany, and because I already own W1 and W2 I had 27% discount. So I payed 43.79 EUR. Then the Fair Price Package:

This resulted in 2 codes of 5.99 $ each.
9.99 was just an example. I could have said 10.99, or 11.98....
2x5.99 = 11.98

Wonder how they calculated that. 43.79 Euro is about $59.81. That's $16 difference with the US version, ie a 9.99 + 5.99

I guess they calculate VAT in there somewhere.
