It's funny because it's true. Jim Sterling gave the game a relatively bad review because he hated the difficulty lol

still not played it.
but it seems that TW2 is old school difficult game. tvtropes calls it nintendo hard.
we just got used to games telling us how to play them, leading us by hand. while in the past a game would simply throw us at enemies and let us deal with them by ourselves.

I second the part about games usually leading us by the hand, by saying i'm glad a game has decided not to do this all the time. If people want an aim assisting/health regenerating/one button press to kill quick game they can go elsewhere, am I right?

At first I was like "Wtf, where is iso view, where are styles and what the hell is this figthing system".
And then after faffing about a bit more I started liking it. It kind of makes sense you know - Geralt wouldn't really be standing surrounded in mob and swinging swords around like a tool.
A bit of patience helps getting used to it and after you go with the flow - game is just unfolds to its full potential :)

And that's why game manuals exist! there's even a complete guide with any version of the witcher 2, when will people stop being such giant pussies?

That too. No doubt the only 'bad' review (I say bad but 6/10 isn't bad) for The Witcher 2 certainly drove up Destructoid's page hits.

I don't know. I wouldn't mind if this forum included pop up tips.

Tip: Did you know The Witcher 2 has its own forum for Witcher 2 threads?
