Makes sense: Witcher 2 for Mac was one of the indications GOG might support Mac soon, so I agree with Redfern that concordance would be expected here too.

Yes, I have it in my account. I haven't yet installed it because it is huuuge. That and I haven't played The Witcher yet. It isn't available for Linux...

No, it has to do with crappy drivers... AMD will supposedly issue a fix :/

The update really does not surprise me. I was expecting GOG / CDProject to be using wrappers like they do with most of the Mac games here.
Unless the game was built in an engine actually designed to export to Linux OSes then there will need to be some form of wrapper. The fact that it is such a poorly received wrapper by the sounds of it is a little disappointing, but only time will tell how this all pans out.

Well, that's a bit disappointing. I was going to wait until the build released on GOG so hopefully the performance will improve by then.

Its just concerning that the games will be ported over using a wrapper. Hope this is not a trend for the other games. I just want them to release the games that have Linux ports. And by ports i actually mean proper support on an engine that is multi platform, not just a wrapper around the windows version aka wine. Which we can all already do..
