Just noticed a news post on Kotaku that has the system specs for the Witcher 2.
how-powerful-does-your-pc-need-to-be-to-make-the-witcher-2-look-this-good
+ screens.

Also the minumum requirements are up on Can you run it?, which will tell you if you're pc can handle the game or not. Nice for less tech savvy people like myself to get an estimate.
According to it my laptop is 0.1 GHz too slow.

what i find odd is that it states that the game only needs 8 gigs of Hd space, and another 8 for bonus material. i'm really curios what that means.

Nope not me, but my computer can barely run The Witcher Enhanced Edition I got all the way to Vizima? it was after the swamp area, and all the NPCS slowed the game to a halt.

Been meaning to pick up a new computer but $700+ for a performance PC is a little out of my price range at the moment plus school so I'm doublely unable to play/buy a PC.

Yup, and at full settings, though I'd be a lot more comfortable once I upgrade to a Phenom II X6 and once the MSI R6970 Lightning is released. I'm all over that.
