Kabuto: DRM-free
Choose one of five free $5.99 rpg's
Exclusive GOG content
Devs get more money when purchasing from GOG.

Redviper: I guess it would be more compelling if I didn't already own all of the 5 GOG rpg titles they're offering.
I want to buy from GOG, but I guess I don't see how the extra music and artwork is worth that much of a price difference. To each his own of course.
Those who own all 5 choices get a 5.99 GOG of their choice if they preorder.

Redviper: That's a silly argument. One can be honest (i.e. not support piracy) and still strive for the cheapest price. My point is, aside from the DRM issues, what is the compelling reason to spend $11 more on the GoG version? I don't see where the value is worth that much extra money.
My point wasn't really about Piracy but about your feeling about lowest price. D2D is not really the lowest price when you consider DRM Free - extras from GOG and the free game. Its the total package not just the $'s involved. Like I said before if all you are interested in is the $ then your answer is to buy from D2D before the deal expires, however the best deal is on GOG.

GameRager - do you have a link to that statement as I already have them all and just thought I was going without. Thanks for letting me know.

I don't have a link perse but several longtimers informed me of this on different occasions and also a mod here said it as well at some point.

Thanks - I better start looking through the catalog ;-)

I'm pretty sure we're giving a game certificate if you already own all of the games in the preorder bundle.

Too bad other DD places don't follow GOG's lead for newer games. Specifically steam offering no alternatives or discounts if buying a bundle you already own games from. Another reason why you can't help but love GOG.

Well, I don't really need a free game (it's nice bonus, don't get me wrong, it's just not the deal maker for me), and I have nothing against the lower price...

That said, I'm gonna purchase from GoG. Why? Well, Even if it's not 100% DRM-free now (yes, it's disputable) I hope they will provide one that is, later on (in a year or so). That is a deal maker. That, and the thing I can trust GoG to keep their download servers online, so I can re-download at any time.
