GOG is dedicated to releasing good old games, right? So why am I seeing things like Braid, Machinarium, Killzone 2: please, people. Let's try to keep the wishlist a useful tool.
From the FAQ:
Why are there New/Unreleased Games on the Wishlist?
Its a wishlist, people are going to put on it what they wish to see on GOG someday, even if they are new or unreleased games. The GOG team members who review the list are intelligent enough to determine which items on the wislist are reasonable requests and which are not.

The forums are not a place for spam: making posts without reading the faq first, making stupid threads about your personal life, or just being typically stupid: please people, lets try to keep the forums an interesting place to post and read.
I don't really think that a personal attack that has nothing to do with the original thread subject was entirely necessary.
That said, the wishlist is a very useful tool, not only for games that GOG can pick up in the near future, but also ones that they can keep their eyes on so that they can provide great games for as long as it's a viable service.

I've read the FAQ. I know. I'm simply posting a (apparently much-needed) reminder to all. Yes, I know people will post random crap there. And this happens not to be about my personal life, but about how people are abusing a useful tool. If it was about my personal life, I would be whining about how it's wasting my time and it's annoying me and how I'm not happy boo hoo hoo. Please, learn the difference so people who feel like discussing the topic and not the poster can post without having to read comments like this.
you seriously thought it was an attack?
lighten up.
I was just listing off bad posting behavior, I wasn't saying you broke all the rules. Relax dude. It was a joke.

Stupid threads about personal life?
I disagree. Completely. Threads like this one is a huge factor in showing how personal and vibrant this community is.

That's ok, because it relates to GOG, as opposed to some newb posting about how he got new glasses.

Okay, THAT is dumb.
Back on topic...
New games will eventually get old, so it really isn't a big deal since GOG is going to be around FOREVER. Plus GOG focuses on old games, but I have absolutely no problem with cheap new games without DRM. :)

The main reason for this post was (if people listen and follow through) it would help the GOG Staff and the GOG Wishlist users.

I agree. However this exact topic is started in a new thread about once a week. We're not knocking the idea behind it however it is a very common repost.
That being said - What is your avatar? Looks kinda neat. Especially as all I have is a island volcano.

Well, I probably should have expected that.
I just joined very recently, so I haven't seen it.
My avatar?
Something I made in GIMP.

:/
the top ten games are all old, the users are smart enough not to vote for stupid entries.

...As in it would help them wade through the muck to get to the content that's supposed to be there. It would just make things easier.
