Which is why a more focussed wishlist might not be such a bad idea. But it would take a lot of work for it to not become too restrictive.

I noticed Planescape Tornament. I got a laugh out of that when I pictured a 3D Morte firing rockets out of his mouth.
EDIT: Oh and there's a Planetscape Torment now. Did they think that over 6000 people had made a typo or something?

Yep, I had to check this but they already have a system in place.
As a test I tried to submit the educational game "Gazillionaire III" with the following results
'1. Game you’d love to see at GOG.com is... (one game per entry please, don’t use “series” etc.)
new Gazillionaire III
2. We’ve found some similar titles... please make sure this game isn’t submitted already

If your game is on the list above, please vote on it to avoid duplicates (simply click on the rectangle with the votes counter). Otherwise...'

Just saw Planescape: TOURNAMENT on the wishlist and I wish I could smack the idiot who put it there. The GOG team should delete such stupidness and add these votes to the right entry and put a big fat banner on top of the list saying "Check the right title of the game on http://www.mobygames.com/" for instance. :D

The whole wishlist concept is somewhat broken. The top ten list is unlikely to include many games which get licensed by GOG, and thus doesn't really serve much purpose. Similarly the browse function doesn't display the information in a useful way. About all the wishlist is good for, is using the search function to vote for games. While this may work for people's top 5 picks, they are unlikely to remember to search for every game they would be interested in buying, and thus many games don't get votes.
Given that the wishlist seems to serve only to placate people wanting a specific game, it seems good for that scenario. But if people want to discuss licensing possibilities, or the actual merits of a particular game, it seems like creating a topic is the only good outlet.
